Supply Chain Manager – Selkirkshire
Our client is a highly successful international company and as a result of significant growth is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to manage its international supply chains.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for all activities associated with the supply of its products to international markets.
These activities will include:
Management of the sales and operations planning process;
Management of suppliers of finished products (including packaging,artwork and change control);
Ensuring that there is an appropriate network of distributors complying with good distribution practice;
Working with our finance team to manage inventory levels and inter-company transfers:
Working with Business Development and Strategic Marketing and Planning to evaluate and implement new product opportunities.
Key skills/experience required
At least three years’ experience in supply chain management, production or requirements scheduling.
Demonstrable competency and experience in use of planning and scheduling tools,Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) methodologies and procurement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
An effective team player as this role interacts with a number of commercial and technical disciplines.
